DATAFOLIO ACCELERATES IN ITALY THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH 6SICURO.IT FOR THE LAUNCH OF “6SICUROEVAI”, THE PAY-PER-USE APP THAT ENSURES MOBILITY ACCIDENTS
Datafolio, theFrench insurtech which offers the first pay-as-you-go insurance for all forms of mobility, has launched in Italy a partnership with 6sicuro.it, the insurance comparator of Assiteca, largest insurance broker in Italy. Thanks to this partnership, 6sicuro.it launches ‘6sicuroevaiby datafolio’, the first ‘Pay-how-you-go all mobility’ insurance available within an application, developed by Datafolio.
In recent years, there has been a profound change in our mobility habits. More and more people are using different vehicles to get around – cars, motorbikes and scooters but also bicycles and electric scooters - yet fewer and fewer are deciding to buy them, eager to avoid fixed costs (parking, insurance) and in some cases to limit their carbon footprint. This trend is accelerating with the electrification of vehicle fleets and is leading to a reshaping of mobility insurance underwriting.

Activation of the insurance for each trip is automatic, and all the information regarding risk and pricing is given to the user on a trip-by-trip basis. The contract is open-ended and can be taken out per journey, for one month, or on a rechargeable basis.
